applied kinesiology

What is applied kinesiology?

Applied kinesiology is an assessment procedure used to enhance standard diagnostic measures and identify the root cause of a patient's complaint.

What does applied kinesiology do for me?

Applied kinesiology can be used to diagnose a host of problems, including some that are difficult to identify any other way.

How does applied kinesiology work?

A doctor or healer using applied kinesiology will position the patient so that one muscle (usually a strong one, in the thigh or upper arm) has the opportunity to be dominant, and then restrict the movement of that muscle while testing one or more potential health disruptions with the patient. For example, a patient affected by SAD will often find the muscle significantly stronger when she or he is exposed to full-spectrum light, rather than standard flourescent lamps.
